Embroidery includes a red cross that looks like a plus sign with arrows. This sign dates back to the years 428 - 431 in Uzbek history (the Nestorian era); pertaining specifically to the Christian population at that time. We still have some of the cross design on the ancient walls and floors built in that era. The embroidery piece is more than 50 years old. All pieces in the pillow case are made by the Uzbek technics of dye, weaving, embroidery and other. The inner part of the pillow case has lining to protect the embroidery. One of a kind!
